Any Other Business
- VG mentioned in her introduction – That the locals felt the Highest fear of crime across London.
- PH raised concerns regarding High Street Market office.
- PS Choudhry – Locally it has been agreed to keep the Market Office until 2025, however this is still awaiting ADC approval, further to that it has also been agreed to keep UPLANDS patrol base for another 8 years.
- PH – Importance of keeping the market office – Crime figures historically higher when the High Street team numbers are reduced, Keeping Market office increases police presence, less time lost by officers travelling to and from and locals should fight to keep the office.
- Next ward panel meeting venue, TC stated he will try and accommodate the meeting in the Town Square Library. [Action TC]
- JS raised concerns regarding drug users and supply around CARISBROOK ROAD E17 and NORTHCOTE ROAD.
- PH – Staffing issues?
- PS CHOUDHRY – We currently have 9 PC’s and 1 PCSO, rotations have stopped, Officers have been given option to move around and this will be like for like swoops.
- We have lost Reece APPLETON to ERPT, however awaiting to replace him with PC VASILU. New commissioner may uplift PC and PCSO numbers going forwards. WF will be getting a new Superintendent.
- We have 2 leave lines and they work 10:00 hours to 19:00 hours Tuesday - Friday and 1300 – 1000 Tues – Saturday, We have changed our weekend shift to 1500-0000 due to the current Burglary issues.
