Actions & Matters Arising
- Tylers Court: Stephen Ayers sent a message thanking the team for their "visible diligent and very effective work in preventing ASB and crime", going on to say "The SNT's work has made a very noticeable reduction to residents' stress levels due to ASB and crime and a very noticeable raising of all the residents' standard of living in comparison with the previous 23 years."
- Homeless Shoplifter: Emmanuel had been expecting to offer support, but the shoplifter is now in prison.
- Cycling on High Street: Jason assesses that the signage is sufficient to allow intervention. Other signage about theft/robbery awareness, funded by Op. Nightingale is already up.
- Council CCTV vans: Tom to follow up.
- Riz to engage with BTP (Rail!) and Safer Transport (Buses & Roads), particularly over children from Holy Family School congregating at Walthamstow Central (Catholic school, so many are not local). It is reported that staff there have not been cooperative. There is an option to withdraw Zip cards as a sanction where necessary. Safer Transport Sergeant is Sgt David James. The HF Schools officer comes under the Wood Street team.
- Ana's Team, Emmanuel to engage kids at Bus Station for diversionary activities.
- High Street Team to invite schools officers and head teachers to Ward Panel meetings as apppropriate - there are no secondary schools in High St ward.
- Riz & Jason to provide Tom with information for noticeboards, e.g. the one outside the Library.
- Lauren & James to email Tom re Holy Family issues.
- Lauren & James to contact "central comms" re promotion of Ward Panel.
- Safer Transport PCSOs to approach the bus station re safety announcements re theft, etc.
Police Report & discussion
- Staffing: St James ward (which comes under Sgt Bray and works closely with High St) is understaffed by one PC. Abstractions (e.g. central London demos, and backfilling the Response teams) are constant, and impacting work on the ward.

- VAWG: 2 reported sexual offences in last 4 weeks: 1 attempted rape and 1 sexual touching.
- Burglary: 6 burglaries (all commercial property) in 4 weeks.
- Theft: 43 in 4 weeks - includes pickpocketing and shoplifting, theft from persons and theft of bikes.
- Robbery: 7 Robberies 3 at knife-point; one phone snatch on a bike. Phone snatches increasing from St James area. A recent operation on Ferry Lane together with Safer Transport officers seized 8 bikes. Another similar operation is planned.
- Theft from Motor Vehicle: 2 thefts from vehicle, 1 theft of vehicle in 4 weeks.
- Drug offences: 6 possesson, 1 possession with intent to supply.
- ASB: 9 nuisance calls reported.
Any Other Business
- Discussed amplified campaigning (preaching, canvassing, begging) in Town Square. Being investigated by the Town Centre team.
- Cycling discussed again.
- Cllr. Anwar mentioned reports of a "gang" in the High Street - no other information at this time.
- Discussed promotion of the Ward Panel, with suggestions of using NextDoor, Twitter, the WF Community Safety newsletter and traditional printed media for people potentially "digitally excluded". Joint panel with St James suggested.
