VisitorsThe club always welcomes new faces, and has a tradition of welcoming folk who haven't played for some years, as well as those new to the area.
You should probably already know which end of the racket to hold - absolute beginners will often be better off with a suitable course, although they might well be able to join us after a couple of terms. If you've played at all before you'll find you'll slot in comfortably. On the other hand, we do also welcome more advanced players: only the better league players will feel any challenge is missing. Almost everyone who joins us is "very rusty" - that's fine, and expected! Once you've reached the top of any waiting list, we'll contact you (proactively) to welcome you to play without charge for the first two sessions. After that, we'd invite you to make a decision about joining. When you turn up for the first time, just make your way to the hall and speak to anyone there, and you'll be welcomed and involved in a game within minutes! Racquets can be hired inexpensively at reception. Contact Us:

Subscriptions:Membership is open to anyone over 14, and is available only on a monthly basis - this is necessary to keep afloat financially. Members currently pay £22 per month (the rules provide for certain discounts), a clear month in advance by bank transfer. So, if you joined at the beginning of February for example, you'd be asked for a payment to cover:
It's not as complicated as it sounds, and it does prevent us going bust ... |
